The research findings of our senior researcher, Miguel Jaramillo, together with Julio Almonacid and Luciana de la Flor, on the impact of the 2001 labor contract reform implemented by the Constitutional Court are highlighted by Gianfranco Castagnola, Executive Chairman at Apoyo Consultoría, en El Comercio. The main conclusion of the study is that the reform is responsible for a reduction in the probability that a worker has a permanent contract to a fifth of what was before the ruling.
