This bulletin is based on the main findings of the study by Javier Escobal, Carmen Ponce, Ramón Pajuelo and Mauricio Espinoza, published in the book ‘Estudio comparativo de intervenciones para el desarrollo rural en la Sierra sur del Perú’ (Comparative study of rural development interventions in the Southern Highlands of Peru). The study and the publication of the book were carried out with the support of the Ford Foundation.
