After presenting the findings of other research on the impact of the JUNTOS programme, we describe the criteria used to identify the households benefiting from the programme and detail the selection procedure for the group of children enrolled in the Young Lives study —who were also beneficiaries of JUNTOS— in order to contrast them with another group of children —also from the study sample— but not participating in the programme. The results of the comparison are then shown for certain indicators relevant to the child and his or her household, and the long-term effects of JUNTOS on the children are explored. Finally, conclusions and policy suggestions are provided.
