Presentation
The purpose of this study is to describe quantitatively (i) the educational trajectories of young men and women in Peru, (ii) the profile of skills with which they reach the post-secondary stage, (iii) the type of occupations they have in the labor market and / or careers followed in higher education, and (iv) the drivers that determine these trajectories throughout the life cycle. The study uses data from Young Lives (minor and major cohort). The final outcome will be published in a book as part of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the International Development Research Center (IDRC) Youth project, which conducts similar studies in other Latin American and Caribbean countries.
