At the inaugural lecture of the academic year held by the GLOBED – Erasmus interuniversity master’s program on October 30, our Senior Researcher María Balarin reflected on how education can become a space where justice is practiced, not only by reducing inequalities, but also by questioning how countries in the global south respond to global demands and agendas.
Her presentation explored the notions of epistemic justice, the urgency of a paradigm shift, and the crucial role of transformative education in addressing current economic and social challenges.
