Although care is increasingly recognized as a fundamental pillar of social development, significant challenges remain in how care and support systems are conceived, discussed, and implemented in poverty eradication and social justice agendas.
In the context of the 64th session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD64), UNRISD brings together experts, policymakers, and civil society actors to explore how policy milestones are shaping debates and policies on care in our region.
Our senior researcher Lorena Alcázar will share evidence on care, poverty, and inequality.
