Today, Manuel Glave, principal investigator at GRADE, is facilitating the First Regional Workshop on “Guidelines for the Multimodal Infrastructure Plan for Amazonian Connectivity.”
The event aims to gather input and build consensus among regional stakeholders on the key criteria and guidelines for planning sustainable connectivity infrastructure in the Amazon, as a basis for developing the Multimodal Amazon Connectivity Plan.
Chaired by the Amazon Regional Association and the Regional Government of Loreto. Organized by the Technical Secretariat of the Working Group on Connectivity, comprising the Wildlife Conservation Society Peru, The Nature Conservancy Peru, and GRADE. With support from the Governors’ Climate and Forests Task Force and Alternative Development Mechanisms (MDA).
