Our senior researcher, Hugo Ñopo, will be speaker and workshop facilitator at the 8th International Research Seminar on Quality of Education, held by the Colombian Institute for the Evaluation of Education (Icfes), on November 2 and 3, 2017, in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.
The Seminar aims to raise awareness of national and international research, as well as the studies on the quality of education in Colombia that Icfes has been undertaking. It is aimed at researchers, public policy designers, managers, teachers and students of higher education.
The first day, Hugo will facilitate a workshop on the methods of decomposition applied in education; while on the second day he will share the findings of his study titled: “Gears broken: the value added of higher education on teacher’s academic achievement”.
