2026 Environmental Election Dialogue: What Are the Environmental Agenda Proposals in the Presidential Election?

The presidential election on June 7 will determine the country’s political course for the 2026–2031 term. Among the key issues for Peru’s future is the environmental agenda, which directly impacts sustainability, democratic governance, and the well-being of citizens.
With the aim of creating a space for public and informed dialogue, this event has been organized to bring together representatives from the Fuerza Popular and Juntos por el Perú parties to address issues such as illegal mining, protected natural areas, indigenous peoples, institutional frameworks, and environmental justice.
