Diego holds a degree in economics from PUCP and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Barcelona. His areas of interest focus on economic geography, territorially-oriented policies, urban planning, innovation, and the knowledge economy.
Diego has a longstanding relationship with GRADE. He was a research assistant at GRADE before beginning his Ph.D. in 2013, and since 2024 he has been collaborating on various projects led by the UPDP and several principal investigators.
