Eduardo Zegarra explains the Agrarian Law, its benefits and the problems of its special labor regime
What is the Law for the Promotion of the Agrarian Sector or Agrarian Law? What worked and what did not? Eduardo Zegarra, senior researcher at GRADE, explained in Ideeleradio its benefits and problems for which, he thinks, it must be reformed: “The labor regime of the law can not remain as the special one. The fundamental labor rights of agricultural workers must be fully recognized. I do agree with the tax issue due to the sector still requires support in investments. However, the exemption must be tied to the participation of small and medium-sized agriculture in the export process. ”
