The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) publishes the Global Education Monitoring Report – GEMR, aimed to reporting to all the associated States on progress in their commitments to education, such as part of the monitoring and evaluation of the goals and indicators of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 4), in the 2030 Education Action Framework.
In this framework, UNESCO and the Ministry of Education of Peru held the launch of the report, on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at the Ministry of Culture’s headquarters.
Our Research Director, Santiago Cueto, also a member of the National Council of Education (CNE), will discuss the findings of the report, together with Cristina Del Mastro, Dean of the Faculty of Education of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru; Rafael Egúsquiza, Director of the Research Institute of Educational Policies of the Antonio Ruiz de Montoya University; and Guillermo Molinari, Vice Minister of Pedagogical Management, Ministry of Education.
The event will be inaugurated by the Minister of Education, Idel Vexler, the president of the CNE, César Guadalupe, and the representative of UNESCO in Peru, Magaly Robalino.
