Regarding the regulatory gaps that unprotect women in the agro-export sector, our senior researcher, Eduardo Zegarra, said: “It is still a labor force that has a relatively lower remuneration than men.” This and other findings of his study “Agro-export boom and diversification in Peru” were shared with the Foreign Trade Commission of the Congress of the Republic of Peru in a recent Parliamentary Academic Dialogue held by the Consortium for Economic and Social Research.
