Chávez I., C. (2008).

This article explores the relationship between the media, democracy, currents of opinion and the establishment of a public agenda. We will discuss the dilemmas in the interrelation of these fields in light of the precarious presence of the human rights agenda in the mass media, especially television, and its necessary contribution to a democratic debate on issues of collective interest. Emphasis will be placed on the concept of information as a public good and its role as a mediator in the deliberation of political issues.
