Presentation
Since 2005, the program of conditional cash transfers Juntos focuses on the population living in poverty, mainly in rural areas of Peru. In order to offer this benefit to the population, Juntos has a selection rule to identify; first, the districts that could receive access to the program; and second, the households within each of the districts that receive the transfer. This selection rule has evolved over time and currently is not sufficiently documented. The purpose of this study is to prepare a document that explains the evolution of the selection rule of the Juntos program in the 2005-2017 period.
