Presentation
The German Development Cooperation – GIZ Agency in Peru and the Grupo de Análisis para el Desarrollo – GRADE have signed an agreement to develop a Regional Research Agenda for each of the six regions that have been part of the Regional Development and Innovation Strategy (EDIR): Apurímac, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, La Libertad, Piura and San Martín.
The product of the project is the formulation of the ARI for each region, including the design of its implementation mechanisms. In addition, the implementation of the ARI will be initiated through the production of adequately formulated R&D projects in the process of acquiring funding (or financed). This strategy is designed to demonstrate the operationalization and usefulness of the ARI immediately, and thus facilitate its appropriation among the relevant actors in each region.
