Presentation
At the request of the IDB, it will be carried out an ex ante economic evaluation and design of the impact assessment system of a disaster prevention project in the cities of Cochabamba and La Paz, in Bolivia.
The researcher will develop a baseline survey of inhabitants in the intervention areas and a control group in areas with similar characteristics. For the ex ante economic evaluation, data from this survey will be used referring to historical losses of households in the 10 years prior to the baseline. This allows to generate estimates of losses avoided in urban and agrarian infrastructure in the beneficiary zone.
