Presentation
As part of the Design Evaluation and Public Budget Execution (EDEP) the Public Budget Bureau (DGPP) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance –MEF designated Manuel Glave, main researcher of GRADE, as coordinator of the “Natural Areas Preservation” Budget Program Evaluation Panel.
The public intervention evaluated includes activities performed by the National Service for Natural Protected Areas (SERNANP) and MINAM, with the Vice-Minister for Strategic Development of Natural Resources as the technical responsible person.
The evaluating panel is completed by Jorge Noriega (researcher from DESCO) and Giuliano Rojas (consultant.) EDEPs constitute one of the evaluating and follow-up instruments used as part of the Results-based Budgeting with resources of the Project “Modernization of the Public Fund Administration System”, and the financial support of the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB.).
