Presentation
In order to evaluate the quality of the environment in pre-school centers at national level, as well as the level of students’ performance in 2014, the Ministry of Education will apply the ECERS-R and EDI tests in a representative sample of pre-school education centers. The objective is to elaborate a methodological proposal for the application of the tests. The document includes: (a) definition of the type of study to be performed; (b) description of instruments used; (c) basic results obtained from the pilot tests performed in 2013; (d) description of the sampling framework and of the sample; (e) data collection methods and techniques; and (f) sample selection for quality control.
