Presentation
Aliados de Impacto (AdI) is a non-profit organization that seeks to catalyze the scaling of impact investment in Peru with the objective of facilitating access to capital, knowledge and networks for high-impact ventures and projects, while raising the visibility of the impact investment sector and promoting its growth at the national level. Based on the grant agreement between AdI and the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment (GSG) for the execution of the project “Evidence based foundations to accelerate the allocation of capital towards public good in Peru and catalyze an impact-focused economy”, this study aims to develop evidence-based knowledge about the impact investment ecosystem in Peru to optimize the allocation of capital, close gaps between demand and supply, recommend innovative impact financing tools, and develop mechanisms to link and articulate the ecosystem. The study is delimited in components 2 and 3 of the project, which cover the analysis of the supply of financing and key actors in the agribusiness sector and value chains in Peru, as well as a mapping of sectoral opportunities to develop blended finance instruments with a focus on gender and environmental sustainability.
