Presentation
The project consists of reviewing and updating the situation of the availability of human capital for innovation in Peru. It includes the review of studies and the proposal of a theoretical framework for the analysis of the supply and demand of human capital necessary for the proper functioning of an innovation system in Peru, assessing its scope and proposing aspects for its improvement. It also involves updating the profiles of key human capital, identifying the gaps in the profiles required by the actors of the ecosystem and identifying the innovation activities that are being promoted to increase competitiveness in the country, which will allow generating proposals and recommendations for strengthening human capital for innovation in Peru. The team will use mixed methods and a primary information gathering of at least 40 personal interviews (virtual) with active actors in the country’s innovation system from business, academia and government, and at least 15 interviews with representatives (managers) of companies.
