Presentation
This project proposes the establishment of an Observatory of Resilience of Education Systems in Latin America and the Caribbean, focused on SMA partner countries. The Observatory will collect, produce and disseminate evidence, experiences and research relevant to improving the adaptability and resilience of education systems. Using a mixed methods approach, the research will identify existing definitions and practices of resilience, examine current and changing scenarios, and explore possible future disruptions. It will provide practical recommendations for decision-makers, thereby improving crisis preparedness. The Observatory aims to mobilize critical information for public policy and academic research, particularly regarding the educational risks faced by vulnerable students in disruptive scenarios. By influencing policy makers, educators, researchers and the public, the project seeks to promote more equitable and resilient education systems that can anticipate and adapt to future crises in the selected countries.
