Miguel Jaramillo in Bloomberg Línea: “The probability of a young person getting a formal job would be even more difficult”
“The probability of a young person getting a formal job, which is already ridiculously low, would be even more difficult. If the labor policy announcements are oriented towards the fact that it will cost more to fire, that temporary contracts are limited, how do you want firms hire more? If the government really wants to promote formal employment and particularly of young people, it has to make announcements consistent with this goal. Not with the opposite goal, which are the announcements that it has been making.”
