Hugo Ñopo’s opinion in Convoca on Peru Congress’ Education Commission and the gender focus in school curriculum
The investigative journalism association Convoca highlighted the opinion of Hugo Ñopo on the current Congress of the Republic Education commission. According to our Senior Researcher, the gender focus policy in the primary and secondary school curricula will suffer a setback in this five-year period since both the caucus that presides this commission and the official caucus have “critical views” on it. “There are those of us who are convinced of the gender focus in education, but we must understand that in the April elections that view has not won. This is how societies advance, with comings and goings,” concludes Ñopo.
