Alessandra Hidalgo wins at the 2019 MIDIS Culminated Research Contest
We congratulate our Research Assistant, Alessandra Hidalgo, who has won of the three prizes at the MIDIS 2019 Culminated Research Contest, on the sidelines of the Evidence Week 2019.
Alessandra achieved this prize with the study, carried out together with Karina Márquez, a former GRADE’s Research Assistant, “What difference can parents make? Parental structure at home and its implications for risk behaviors in adolescents”. The study used Young Lives data. Another winning research, “Conditional Cash Transfer Programs and child psychosocial development: evidence of the impact of Juntos during the first 4 years of life,” by Guido Meléndez, a former GRADE’s Research Assistant, also used data from the longitudinal study.
All winning research will be presented on Friday, November 15 at an event organized by the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (MIDIS), as part of the Evidence Week 2019, “Importance of evaluations and promotion of research from MIDIS “.
