Marjorie is a Ph.D. in Education with emphasis on Advanced Quantitative Methods in Social Research Methodology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

She has over 15 years of experience in project management, technical assistance, research and fieldwork in international development. She has led multiple projects in different areas of education, and designed and implemented rigorous mixed-method impact evaluations. Her areas of interest are early childhood, primary education, women’s and gender studies.

She has worked at GRADE as Research Assistant in the area of education and she is currently a Senior Consultant and Education Expert and an External Affiliated Researcher at GRADE.
