Felipe Portocarrero O'Phelan
Felipe is a PhD candidate in the Department of Education, Practice and Society at the Institute of Education- University College London. His research project explores the formulation processes and contexts of influence of two educational policies implemented in Peru in the last 30 years. His interest focuses on the rol of certain actors and groups of interest, and the discursive/ideological and practical mechanisms used to exert direct or indirect influence on educational policy decision-making. Felipe also holds a Degree in Philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and a MA in Policy Studies in Education, also from IoE-UCL.
