Alessandro Goglio
Alessandro is a senior international economist with extensive experience advising governments on long-term reforms, policies, and programs, particularly in the areas of social and labor market reforms. He currently teaches Public Economics at LIUC Università Cattaneo (Castellanza, Italy), School of Economics, following thirty years at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris. During his time at the OECD, Alessandro held roles in the Economics Department, the Cabinet of the Secretary-General, the Global Relations and Co-operation Directorate, and the Employment, Labour, and Social Affairs Directorate. He led several large-scale projects focused on youth employment, social support, and skills in emerging economies, as well as initiatives to close gender gaps in paid and unpaid work in Latin America. Alessandro holds a PhD from the Geneva Graduate Institute of International Studies and a Laurea from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy).
