“The transition and adaptation to a virtual education modality was not the same for all students. The challenges have mainly affected women, from lower socioeconomic conditions, as they have to deal with domestic responsibilities […] What and what is the role that educational institutions must fulfill in relation to the guarantees of gender equality in the virtual modality?”.
Vanessa Rojas, Associated Researcher at GRADE, shared yesterday her new study Higher education in times of pandemic. The discussants were Manuel Bello, member of the National Education Council, and Jorge Mori, director of University Higher Education of the Ministry of Education (Minedu). The chair was Santiago Cueto, executive director at GRADE and country director of Young Lives Peru.
