“We are in the midst of an unprecedented crisis in the recent history of Peru. One of the manifestations of this crisis is the fall in employment. At the end of last year we had a million fewer jobs than a year ago. we had started to reactivate production, we are still far from where we were before the pandemic. These figures call for an emergency employment program”. Our senior researcher, Miguel Jaramillo, is one of the authors of Propuestas del Bicentenario, a book by Videnza Consultores, edited by Penguin Peru. Yesterday, at the launch of the publication, Miguel also shared proposals for productivity, formalization in the labor market, and social protection.
