Our researchers Santiago Cueto, María Balarin and Mauricio Saavedra are in Mexico City participating in a workshop as part of an international project to elaborate a report on the state of the art of EdTech technology education in the Global South. The project is led by GRADE and Southern Voice, with the support of the International Development Research Centre (IDRC).
Over the course of two days, ideas on preliminary regional findings are exchanged, preliminary reports are validated with the participation of regional experts, and research priorities and gaps are identified to advance equitable, inclusive and large-scale learning through the use of EdTech in low- and middle-income countries in the Global South.
The workshop discussions will also serve to conceptualize an upcoming IDRC call for research proposals on technological resources and reducing inequalities in learning.
