Our Senior Researcher Manuel Glave was a panelist at the International Forum Connecting well-being in the Amazon. The event was organized by the Observatory for Sustainable Road Infrastructure in the Andes and Amazon (OIVSAA), of which GRADE is a member, the National Amazonian University of Madre de Dios, the Roundtable for the Fight against Poverty, and the Association Civil Transparency.
The purpose of the forum was to contribute to the exchange of information, experiences and proposals for policies and investments on sustainable infrastructure in the Amazon. Three thematic panels were developed: the first on Politics and Financing with the presence of national and regional authorities, as well as multilateral financing organizations. The second panel deals with the international and national experiences of highway investment projects in the Amazon. The third panel on the proposals of the candidates for Regional Governor of Madre de Dios.
Manuel was a panelist in the second panel.
