Our Senior Researcher, Manuel Glave, joined the French-Peruvian Scientific Forum “New perspectives on climate change in the Amazon”, held by the National Council of Science, Technology and Technological Innovation (Concytec), the University of the Pacífico, the French Institute of Research for Development (IRD), and the French Embassy in Peru together with the French Institute of Andean Studies (IFEA).
Manuel discussed the presentation by Jhan Carlo Espinoza (IRD) that addressed new perspectives on hydroclimatic connectivity between the Amazon and the tropical Andes. The panel also included: Daniel De La Torre Ugarte, affiliated researcher at Universidad del Pacífico, and Yamina Silva, Director of the Sub Directorate of Atmospheric and Hydrosphere Sciences of the Geophysical Institute of Peru (PGI).
