Our senior researcher Lorena Alcázar will be a panelist at the International Seminar “Social Policies, Gender and Inequalities in the Andean Region: Perspectives, Expectations and Dilemmas”, organized by trAndeS Graduate Program in Sustainable Development and Social Inequalities in the Andean Region and the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
The two-day seminar will address issues related to the challenges of development and life management, taking into account the critical contexts facing Latin America and the Caribbean and, in particular, the Andean Region.
During the first day, Lorena will be part of the panel on social protection, gender and care, together with Norma Correa (PUCP) and Vivian Schwarz (Ciudadanía, Bolivia). Maruja Barrig will moderate the panel.
