The Permanent Seminar on Agrarian Research (SEPIA) will launch its book Peru: the agrarian problem in debate SEPIA XVIII. The event will address the contributions to the three main topics of the last SEPIA seminar in Puno: 50 years of the Agrarian Reform; Governance, power and institutionality in rural spaces; and Adaptive strategies and rural development in Peru.
The book launch will be opened by Silvana Vargas, Minister of Development and Social Inclusion, and Manuel Glave, Chair of the Board of Directors of SEPIA 2020-2021 and Senior Researcher at GRADE. Our researchers Ricardo Fort, Mauricio Espinoza and Javier Escobal own an article on the Peruvian Agrarian Reform. The discussion will be undertake by Rosa Morales (IEP), Carlos Monge (NRGI/DESCO) and Ingrid Hall (University of Montreal).
