Cali: Vanessa Rojas and Lorena Alcázar are participating in the 34th Annual Conference of the International Association for Feminist Economics

Our senior researchers and coordinators of the Collaborative Action Research Fund on Care in Latin America, Vanessa Rojas and Lorena Alcázar, are participating in the in-person event of the 34th Annual Conference of the International Association for Feminist Economics (IAFFE). The topics being discussed this week highlight the importance of ideas, policies, and movements within the transformative tradition of feminist economics.

On Thursday, July 9, Vanessa will participate in a panel discussion on how care policies in the region are sustained through partnerships between the state, academia, and civil society. Also participating: Antonia Asenjo, Valentina Ríos, Yasodhara Silva, and Nohemí Gonzáles.

On Friday, July 10, Lorena will participate in a roundtable discussion addressing the tensions, lessons, and alliances for transformative change toward the sustainability of care systems in Latin America. Also participating: Evelyn Baraké, Valentina Perrotta, Karla Giacomun, and Natalia Moreno.
