Childcare strategies in vulnerable Peruvian families
In Peru, women spend more than twice as much time as men on childcare: 12 hours and 14 minutes versus 5 hours and 49 minutes a week, respectively, according to the 2010 National Survey on the Use of Time (ENUT). Reflecting on the care of children in our context also means considering the condition in which their families live and understanding their vulnerability.
