The Library of GRADE is an academic information unit specilized in public policies for development, which for more than fifteen years has been a provider of documentation services in this institution. Our mission is to support and enhance research at GRADE, making all the library resources available and useful to its staff and for everyone who is interested in the subject areas we cover.
The holdings of the GRADE’s library have been built up since 1989, and constitute an important collection on development issues. Today, we hold more than 20 000 items, including electronic and printed materials. The library offers access to relevant recorded information in the subjects of interest for GRADE, all related to development issues in Peru and Latin America. Some of these subjects are:
• Economics: Economic policy, growth policy, social policy.
• Education: Educational policy, teacher training, educational evaluation.
• Environment: Environmental policy, environmental planning, environmental costs and protection.
• Labor: Labor policy, working conditions, labor migration, labor market.
• Mining and natural resources.
• Rural development: Agricultural policy, agricultural economics, rural economy.
• Social and economic equity; discrimination.
Visiting the library
We welcome researchers and university students who want to use our holdings for research purposes; No special authorization is necessary, but please call us or send an e-mail to make an appointment.
