For this reason, we welcome a limited number of visiting researchers each year.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grade.org.pe\/en\/researchers\/visiting-researchers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">View the list of GRADE&#8217;s visiting researchers here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Those interested in applying to the program must meet the following requirements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hold a Ph.D. or be in the process of obtaining one<\/strong>. Researchers with other academic degrees may be considered, depending on their career trajectory, academic output, research connections, and potential for collaboration with GRADE.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Conduct research related to one of GRADE\u2019s areas of work<\/strong>. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/grade.org.pe\/areas-de-investigacion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">View our areas of work here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Have identified and established prior contact with a GRADE researcher<\/strong> with whom you would like to collaborate during your stay. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/grade.org.pe\/investigadores\/investigadores-principales\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">View the list of GRADE senior researchers here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DURATION OF THE STAY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Visiting researchers are expected to stay at GRADE for between one and six months.<\/p>\n<p>Stays of shorter or longer durations may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, depending on the availability of workspace and the researcher\u2019s anticipated contribution to the institution.<\/p>\n<p>Stays must be arranged in advance to ensure the availability of a workspace.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BENEFITS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Visiting researchers will have access to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Workspace.<\/li>\n<li>Internet connection.<\/li>\n<li>Institutional library.<\/li>\n<li>Internal seminars and other events organized by GRADE.<\/li>\n<li>Facilities to organize an internal or external seminar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>GRADE does not provide funding or housing for visiting researchers\u2019 stays.<\/p>\n<p><strong>VISITING RESEARCHER COMMITMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Present at least one internal seminar on their research topic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ideally, publish in one of GRADE\u2019s institutional series, such as the \u201cAnalysis &amp; Proposals\u201d policy briefs, the \u201cResearch Progress Papers\u201d series of works in progress, or the \u201cResearch Papers\u201d series.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION PROCESS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested individuals must submit the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed application form. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/grade.org.pe\/wp-content\/uploads\/Formulario-Aplicacion-Investigadores-Visitantes-GRADE-ESP-ENG.zip\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Download the form here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Curriculum vitae, including a brief biography of 150 to 200 words.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Documents must be sent to <a href=\"mailto:progvisitantes@grade.org.pe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">progvisitantes@grade.org.pe<\/a>, with the subject line \u201cApplication for Visiting Researcher.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Visiting Researchers At GRADE, we believe that academic collaboration and the exchange of ideas are essential to strengthening our research work.
