As part of our activities we welcome a limited number of visiting researchers throughout each year. Meet our visiting researchers <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grade.org.pe\/en\/researchers\/visiting-researchers\/\" target=\"_blank\">HERE<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be considered, candidates should:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ideally have or be in the process of obtaining a PhD (researchers with other degrees may be considered based on their academic trajectory and production, as well as their links and potential for collaboration with GRADE researchers).<\/li>\n<li>Conduct research related to one of GRADE&#8217;s areas of work.<\/li>\n<li>Have identified and established contact with a GRADE researcher with whom they would like to collaborate.<\/li>\n<li>Ideally (although it is not a requirement) seek or be working on a collaborative project with GRADE researchers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Periods of\u00a0stays<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is anticipated that Visiting Researchers will stay at GRADE for a period of between 1 and 6 months. Stays for shorter or longer periods may be negotiated depending on the availability of space and the researchers&#8217; contribution to the institution.<\/p>\n<p>Stays at GRADE should be negotiated in advance to ensure the availability of working space.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The benefits that visiting researchers will be able to count on include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Workspace.<\/li>\n<li>Internet connection.<\/li>\n<li>Access to the institutional library.<\/li>\n<li>Access to internal seminars and other events organized by the institution.<\/li>\n<li>Facilities to organize internal or external seminars.<\/li>\n<li>Possibilities to contribute to the teaching of a course.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>GRADE does not provide funding or accommodation for visiting researchers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What does GRADE expect from visiting researchers?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Present at least 1 internal seminar on their research topics.<\/li>\n<li>Ideally, Visiting Researchers will publish a research paper in one of the GRADE series (either in the policy briefs An\u00e1lisis &amp; Propuestas; in the work-in-progress series Research Progress Papers; or in the\u00a0series Research Papers).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants should send the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Link to application form <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.grade.org.pe\/wp-content\/uploads\/GRADEaplicacionINVVIS.doc\" target=\"_blank\">HERE<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Curriculum vitae (including short bio 150-200 words).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please send these documents to <a href=\"mailto:progvisitantes@grade.org.pe\" target=\"_blank\">progvisitantes@grade.org.pe<\/a> with the following title &#8220;Application for Visiting Researcher&#8221;.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Visiting Researchers At GRADE we believe that collaboration and exchange of ideas are fundamental to our research work.
