March 8 | Transforming care: evidence to strengthen policies and build comprehensive care systems in Latin America
In recognition of International Women’s Day, we share key ideas promoted by the Collaborative Research-Action Fund, an initiative that promotes applied evidence, coordination among actors, intersectional advocacy, and regional learning to strengthen comprehensive care policies and systems in the region. The Fund supports ten projects in eight countries in Latin America and the Caribbean that generate knowledge in dialogue with the State, civil society organizations, and social actors, with the aim of strengthening fairer and more sustainable public care policies.
This project is carried out together with IDRC, Ford Foundation, and in collaboration with the Global Alliance for Care.
